October 24th has been dedicated as Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AOM) Day by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) since its initial commemoration on October 24, 2002.
Acupuncture Medicine Day is part of an effort designed to increase public awareness of the progress, promise, and benefits of acupuncture medicine.
University of East-West Medicine was founded in 1997 in Sunnyvale, California, United States of America.
