Job Title: Admissions Manager
Job Description:
Administrate the Admissions function of the University, including marketing, outreach, advising, processing applications, and collecting the required documents. Coordinate community services activities.
Hours: 32 hours a week. Need to work on Saturday.
Work Location: 595 Lawrence Expressway, Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Bilingual English/Mandarin: Good English/Mandarin listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Effective customer service and organizational skills
- Cross-cultural competence: Effective communication with domestic students and international students with cross-cultural sensitivity
- Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred Requirements:
- Excellent presentation skills
- Superior Marketing knowledge and skills
- Work experience in admissions or recruitment
- At least five years of professional experience

Detailed Job Functions:
- Conduct open house events in English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Ensure that the Admissions team meets pre-set goals and performance standards for the continued success of the students and the University.
- Ensure compliance standards are met and policies are adhered to.
- Submit reports, forecasts, and other documents as required.
- Work with peer departments to ensure the overall success of the University.
- Communicate with potential students daily.
- Proactively introduce Traditional Chinese Medicine to UEWM friends and clinic patients.

Job Title: Clinic Manager
Job Description:
Support the efficient operations of the University Clinic. The Clinic Manager reports directly to the Clinic Director.
About the University Teaching Clinic:
The University of East-West Medicine Acupuncture Clinic is located on the UEWM campus. The Teaching Clinic provides professional and affordable Traditional Chinese Medicine services performed by licensed Acupuncturists (Clinic Supervisors) and qualified, supervised Clinic interns (advanced-level students).
Work Hours: 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 6 pm; May need to work on Saturday or Sunday.
Work Location: 595 Lawrence Expressway, Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Leadership and complex organizational management skills
- Two-year health care field experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Chinese and English)
- Superior business skills
- Knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Detailed Job Functions:
- Operations: Cooperate with the Clinic Director for the management of the University’s Teaching Clinic and Specialist Clinic.
- Marketing: Responsible for the Clinic Marketing. Cooperate with the Clinic Director to achieve the Marketing goals.
- Administration: Supervise the work performance of the Clinic employees and Clinic Supervisors.
- Front-Desk: Supervise and work in the front desk area (two days per week) to have direct communications with patients, for the purpose of enhancing Customer Service and Clinic Promotions.
