There is an ever-growing demand for Acupuncturists in the US. The University of East-West Medicine prepares students to become licensed Acupuncturists in the state of California and Nationwide. Graduates of the Master of Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization (MAcCHM) program are eligible to sit for the California Acupuncture Board License Exam (CALE) and the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) Certification Exam to become a licensed practitioner.
During the information session, you will experience a glimpse of who we are as a university and a community, learn more about the University of East-West Medicine, the Master of Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization (MAcCHM) program, California and National Acupuncture licensing requirements, and how to become a licensed acupuncturist.
There will be a presentation, students/alumni speakers, consultation with Admissions and Academics staff, free clinic treatment, Q&A, and a campus tour.
