Complete Your Path to a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine

The Professional Doctorate (PD) Program at UEWM is designed for students who have completed a Master’s in Acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Medicine (MAcCHM) and are ready to advance to the DAcCHM degree.

This 1–2 year program builds upon your foundational training with a focus on advanced clinical practice, TCM classics, and integrative medicine. Whether you’re currently practicing or recently graduated, the PD Program helps you elevate your credentials, deepen your skills, and expand your impact in the field.

Admissions Requirement

  • Completion of MAcCHM or equivalent degree

  • College-level education, comprising 90-semester units, at an institution accredited by the U.S. Secretary of Education or at an approved foreign university in order to qualify for admission to UEWM. A minimum overall grade point average of 2.0 is also required.
  • Active or recent clinical experience preferred

  • Official transcripts and application form

  • English language proficiency (for non-native speakers)
