UEWM’s Response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) Pandemic
UEWM is actively monitoring the local and global health situation around the novel coronavirus (“SARS-CoV-2”) that causes the “coronavirus disease 2019” (abbreviated “COVID-19”) pandemic. UEWM remains open and most functions continue operating as we balance two imperatives: ensuring that we take prudent precautions to protect our students, patients, staff, faculty and communities beyond our campus, while continuing our daily education and medical activities in ways that are appropriate under the circumstances. This page serves as the official communication regarding the COVID-19 issue. Please check it regularly.
Students, faculty, and staff are required to keep a six-foot social distance, and encouraged to wear a mask in public areas of the University. Students, faculty, and staff who are ill—no matter the cause—are encouraged to stay home and to communicate via email to relevant parties (professor, supervisor, etc.) to let them know you are sick.
The UEWM campus remains open in a minimum operation mode through August 16, 2020. You can find UEWM staff’s work schedule on each department’s door. Students, faculty, and staff should also have received an email with an attachment of the detailed schedule.
UEWM has moved all instructions to online format.
