Commemorating Constitution Day and Citizenship Day
September 17 is Constitution Day and Citizenship Day (Constitution Day). This day commemorates the September 17, 1787 signing of the United States Constitution.
Under legislation passed by the Congress, all education institutions receiving Federal funding are required to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution, on September 17th of each year. UEWM is honored to share the following sites offering further information regarding this special event in the history of the United States.
