June 6, 2026 \u2014 The University of East-West Medicine (UEWM) proudly held the graduation
\nceremony for its first cohort of PD doctoral graduates. Distinguished scholars, political leaders,
\nmedical professionals, and graduates from across the United States and around the world
\ngathered to witness this milestone event.<\/p>\n

The ceremony commenced in a solemn and celebratory atmosphere. University leaders, faculty
\nmembers, and graduates entered in procession, and all attendees stood to sing the national
\nanthem of the United States. This was followed by the singing of the UEWM school anthem by
\nfaculty members and students, expressing their shared vision for the future development of
\nintegrative medicine.<\/p>\n

Dr. Yingqiu Wang, President of the University of East-West Medicine, President of the World
\nSociety of Integrative Medicine, and Chairman of the CoreGatevers Alliance, delivered a
\nkeynote address entitled \u201cDimensions Determine the Future; Elevating Dimensions Creates
\nHope.\u201d Dr. Wang emphasized that, as global healthcare demands continue to evolve, traditional
\nsingle-discipline medical models are giving way to integrative medicine, precision medicine, and
\nwhole-person healthcare approaches.<\/p>\n

Guided by its mission to cultivate high-level professionals in integrative medicine, UEWM has
\nsuccessfully established the PD doctoral education system through the support of an
\ninternational team of distinguished mentors and a comprehensive clinical training framework. Dr.
\nWang stated:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe successful cultivation of PD doctoral physicians at UEWM marks a new stage
\nin the development of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine education. We
\naspire to nurture outstanding medical professionals with an international
\nperspective, precise diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities, and an integrative
\nmedical mindset.\u201d<\/p>\n

He highly commended the graduates for their dedication to study during weekends and personal
\ntime, as well as their remarkable achievements in both academic research and clinical practice.
\nHe encouraged them to uphold the spirit of lifelong learning and continue contributing to the
\nadvancement of human health. Dr. Wang concluded by expressing his sincere gratitude to the
\ngraduates\u2019 families, faculty mentors, and all those who have continuously supported the
\ndevelopment of the university.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, numerous distinguished guests from California’s political and medical
\ncommunities delivered congratulatory remarks. Former California Assemblymember and former
\nSan Jos\u00e9 City Councilmember Kansen Chu extended his congratulations to the graduates and
\nreiterated his longstanding commitment to education and community development. Ms. Ying Li,
\nPresident of the American TCM Association, and former Milpitas Mayor Jose Esteves praised
\nUEWM for its many years of contributions to community healthcare and encouraged graduates
\nto serve society and improve the well-being of the public.<\/p>\n

Current Fremont City Councilmember Yang Shao offered his heartfelt congratulations and,
\ndrawing upon his background in education and the technology industry, emphasized the
\nimportance of interdisciplinary integration and innovative thinking in shaping the future of
\nmedicine. Former Union City Mayor Carol Dutra-Vernaci also expressed her best wishes,
\nencouraging graduates to become important contributors to the advancement of community
\nhealth.<\/p>\n

In addition, Dr. Gao Jinglian and other distinguished leaders with significant influence in the
\nfields of medicine and business delivered remarks on the internationalization of traditional
\nChinese medicine, the development of integrative medicine, and future innovations in life
\nsciences, highly recognizing the accomplishments of the PD doctoral program.<\/p>\n

Professor Dahe Liu, Chairman of the UEWM Academic Committee and mentor of the PD
\ndoctoral program, delivered an address on behalf of the faculty, encouraging graduates to
\nbalance scientific rigor with clinical practice and to pursue excellence throughout their
\nprofessional careers.<\/p>\n

Outstanding graduate representative Dr. Dan Jiang shared her educational journey, noting that
\nthe PD doctoral program had not only enhanced her professional expertise but had also
\nbroadened her international outlook and strengthened her integrative medical perspective,
\nthereby laying a solid foundation for serving patients and society in the future.
\nDuring the ceremony, three organizations were officially established at the University of
\nEast-West Medicine:
\n1. CoreGatevers Academy of Higher-Dimensional Life Sciences
\n2. World Committee on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Standards U.S.A.
\n3. CoreGatevers Center for Higher-Dimensional Health, Happiness, and Longevity<\/p>\n

Representatives stated that these organizations will further integrate high-quality international
\nmedical education resources, promote collaboration among integrative medicine, traditional
\nmedicine, and modern medicine, and cultivate more highly qualified professionals dedicated to
\nglobal health.<\/p>\n

Amid enthusiastic applause, the first PD Doctoral Graduation Ceremony of the University of
\nEast-West Medicine concluded successfully. As the graduates received their doctoral
\ndiplomas\u2014symbols of both honor and responsibility\u2014they embarked upon a new journey of
\nserving society and promoting the health and well-being of humanity.<\/p>\n

Distinguished guests unanimously agreed that this graduation ceremony not only showcased
\nUEWM\u2019s achievements in cultivating high-level talent but also injected new momentum into
\ninternational cooperation and innovative development in integrative medicine education.
\nAt the conclusion of the event, all participants extended their heartfelt wishes to the inaugural
\nPD doctoral graduates, hoping they would enjoy bright futures and continue to achieve new
