To be added to our mailing list to receive program updates, please contact admissions@uewm.edu.<\/h4>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h6>ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS<\/h6>\n<p>Applicants to the TCM Tuina Massage Program must have graduated high school, or be at least 18 years old, show strong motivation, and possess the maturity, desire, and commitment to serve in the healing arts. Prospective students are encouraged to first visit the school and interview with Admissions to discuss their goals before acceptance into the TCM Tuina Massage Program.<\/p>\n<h6>NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY<\/h6>\n<p>In compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the University of East-West Medicine does not discriminate in its educational programs, employment, or any other activities on the basis of race, sex, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, creed or disability.<\/p>\n<h6>ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE<\/h6>\n<p>All applicants are required to submit the following for the TCM Tuina Massage Program Admissions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A completed, signed application form<\/li>\n<li>A completed, signed Enrollment Agreement<\/li>\n<li>A $25, non-refundable registration fee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE<\/h6>\n<p>Students or CMTs wishing to further their training who have taken prerequisite classes elsewhere (Anatomy, Shiatsu I, Acupressure I, etc.), may be able to transfer up to 50% of each class, based on a $5\/hour transfer rate. Students have taken classes in UEWM (Anatomy, Physiology, Tuina, and Ethics) may be transfer up to 100% based on a $2.5\/hour transfer rate. Students must provide official transcripts and course descriptions before enrollment into advanced classes.
